The disappointment of the season cast it’s shadow on my soul, but the Spirit is high on Jesus and the celebration of His first Advent. The thought of Jesus coming to earth in the humble surroundings of Bethlehem is worthy of praise and worship to Him. God who is infinite came to live among the mortals and experiences including infancy. Many have produced and performed the worship of the Christ child with a blissful tranquility as a the theme, but the ugliness of the poverty and turmoil of the Messiah’s birthplace and times help my perspective on worship in any condition. The celebrations and traditions came about from worship. God get the Glory from Christmas. May your children be encouraged to worship and lift Jesus up despite the mean old world.
